No offense, but you might want to stick to drawing comics if that's your thing, and not that manga-slash-cartooning thing that you do, because, again, no offense- that isn't really manga. Your great at drawing comics and cartooning, and many if your fans would appreciate it if you would stick to that. It offends us greatly that you would call this, "manga". For example, I found this tumblr page that you might want to look at because it points out ALL (literally) the things in your books you could improve on. Like perhaps, reading "Anatomy For Dummies," of "How To NOT Draw Weird, Fake Manga".

There are lots of better artists than you on deviantArt, so I'd appreciate it if you'd start being even a little bit humble and look down on yourself for once. Also, I'd like an opinion of WHY exactly you chose to draw manga.

I'm really happy I found you on here, because I really wanted to thank you for teaching me to draw! I am a dummy!

It's sort of a funny story, because I was actually never interested in drawing. It was just never my 'thing' and I always preferred to work with clay, fabric and so on. A few years ago I was actually complaining to my mom about never being able to draw the human characters, and clothing in my stories. At the time I was getting really into anime and I loved the style, so my mom was just like "aaah! Make the whining stop! CURSE YOU!" and she got me three books, manga mania: manga for the beginner, figure it out: the beginners guide to drawing people and manga mania occult and horror. At first I was skeptical because I hadn't been interested in drawing before, but i gave it a chance and after skimming through the first book I was drawing human anatomy almost perfectly (in themanga style   of course) I loved your relaxed fun approach to drawing and for the first time ever I was actually interested in drawing!:happybounce:

I also should mention that reading your books actually helped me mentally when I was sculpting a miniature BJD. Like I just knew how it should look from every angle without looking at a presketch^_^ your books have helped me so much, and opened up a new world of art to me, and I can't thank you enough!Huggle!

No matter what people say about your books, they got me drawing like no other book had, and that's all that's really important in the end is getting people going, or giving them the aids they need to grow. I really respect what you do and hope to hone my skills more as I go along ^_^ I'm still learning of course! but I think I'm getting there! and with the help of your new books I'm sure I'll improve eventually :) (Smile)

I just really wanted to thank you for helping introduce me to something that, without your help I probably never would have gotten into. A thought that makes me very sad now.

So thank you so much Christopher hart! Clap I am a dummy! Love
