Hi Chris! I am a VERY new to drawing (about a week). I write and create cartoon shows, and I have always wanted to be able to draw my own characters. I started with your "Modern Cartooning" book, and before I knew it... it was the next day. I couldn't put my pencil down. It was weird. Then I got into your "Manga for Beginners" book and I don't think people will be seeing me for awhile.  I have always wanted to try drawing, but have always been too scared. Thank you so much for making art approachable, and fun to dive into right away! I added the link to my "scrapbook" I don't know how this all works. But if you want to see any of my drawings from your book, they are all that I have done(of course if you have time). I can't wait to use the tools you teach to make more complex, and original characters. I can't thank you enough.

Hello there :) Your books are very helpful for drawing. I was wondering if you have any tutorial books on coloring, shading, etc. If not do you know anyone that has tutorial books for coloring, shading, etc. :)

I have a section on light and shadow in my book, "Drawing the New Adventure Cartoons," which is helpful. But if you want something more in depth, then I suggest Burne Hogarth's book, but the title eludes me right now. You can find his name on Amazon and scroll him. He does tend to show examples more than he gets into the nitty gritty of technique, in my opinion, but some people like him. I'm glad you like my books, though.
