Some people have trouble drawing the nose in a 3/4 view. Here's a hint for making it simple:
Before you draw, decide if you - the viewer - want it to appear as if you are looking at the head from slightly above it, from a neutral point of view, or from slightly below it. If you decide to draw as if you are looking at the head from slightly above it, or at a neutral angle, then you don't have to draw the nostrils, because the nostril "covers" will be obscured at these angles. This results in an easier pose/angle to draw.
On the other hand, if you're drawing the head as if you - the viewer - are looking at it from slightly below, you will see the nostrils. This adds a degree of complexity to the drawing.
