*INSIDE PUBLISHING*

--An insider's view of publishing for the aspiring professional artist--

QUESTION: If you send out a book proposal to an agent, and the agent asks, "Where else has this manuscript been?" is it a good sign, or a bad sign?

a) It means the agent assumes he's the last in a long line of submissions you've made.

b) It means the agent doesn't think it's ready for prime time, and wonders why you sent it to him, and not others.

c) it means the agent loves it,  and is concerned that another agency might be considering at at the same time.

THE CORRECT ANSWER: I'll post the correct answer in a new post, so be sure to check back later, and see if you got it correct!
