Maddysu86 decided to set up a fan page about my books. She's an accomplished cartoonist, and so it's no surprise that she did a great job. She has also added many inventive categories for you to submit your art. One of them is for anyone who want to to receive a critique from me.
Now, while it's true that I'm a busy guy, with deadlines looming overhead like the sword of Damocles, I nonetheless regularly check her website and offer comments. All I'm saying is, Please be a little patient with me. I'm doing this for two reasons: the first is that I like to support the efforts of of those trying to improve their work. Actually, all of us are always striving to improve. Some are simply a little closer to their goals - that's the only difference. The second reason is that it's my way of showing appreciation to my readers. I've interacted with a lot of you, and I've received such nice comments. Thank you.
As for the critiques: Please don't be fearful, or worried, about receiving harsh criticism. I don't do that. I believe it is just as important to help someone identify his or her strengths as it is to suggest changes. Over the years, I've worked with many talented, professional manga artists from all over the globe, from Japan to Korea, from the Philippines to Singapore, and beyond. Perhaps I can use this experience to give you a few useful pointers.
